PERMIT TEACHER: Dual Immersion Bilingual-French Certificated Job Description
SALARY: Placement on the Children’s Center Salary Schedule based on education and experience.
WORK YEAR: 10 months Bilingual and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES: A Children’s Center Permit Teacher is responsible for providing supervision and instruction of a group of children of nursery or school age within a center who are participating in an all-day or extended day program and assists in other school programs as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

*Bilingual French/English. Must speak, read, and write fluently in English and French. *Two years of experience working in an established early childhood education program. *Child Development Teacher Permit
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or related field from an accredited college is preferred.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
All applications shall be screened for minimum requirements. Applicants possessing minimum qualifications shall be invited to an oral interview. An interview panel shall appraise the applicant’s professional qualifications.
