CHERCHE... Enseignant de français (plein temps) - Bakersfield High School

My name is Dianne Tiner and I am a French teacher and the Modern Language Department Chair at BAKERSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL in Bakersfield, CA. Our French program has grown tremendously (yeah!) and we are looking to hire another full time French teacher. We haven't had any luck finding anyone so I am reaching out to try to find someone with a French degree who is interested. It is ok if they do not have their teaching credential because they can earn it during their first year teaching. Both our school and district are great. Our benefits are 100% covered by the district and the starting salary for a first year teacher is $51,284. I love working at BHS. Our administration is very positive and supportive, the faculty is cooperative, friendly, and hardworking, and our students are awesome!
