The successful candidate:
1) will be NCLB-compliant and English Language Learner certified at the time of hire 2) will be fluent in the reading, writing and speaking of the French language; 3) will have understanding of French history and culture, as well as the history and cultures of other French-speaking countries; 4) will be willing to teach extended day kindergarten; 5) will be willing to assist with the planning and development of the dual immersion program beyond the 2017-2018 school year (including curriculum development and community outreach); 6) will collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning; 7) will have knowledge of early childhood education.
